Battery Converter

The Harbortronics Battery Converter is designed to convert a wide range of power sources to the voltages needed to power to a digital still camera, and a Harbortronics DigiSnap 2000 series controller.

The battery converter uses connectors for input and outputs, and protects the electronics by mounting it in a heat sink package.

A replaceable fuse is used to protect the wiring and the battery converter incase of reverse polarity connection.

Efficiency:
The outputs are generated via switching power supplies, with about 85% efficiency. The input current draw from a 12V battery is less than 1 mA with no load on the outputs.
Voltage
Input Voltage Range: 10 to 40 VDC
Output Voltage 1: Regulated 8.5 VDC
3 amps max load
Output Voltage 2: Regulated 5.0 VDC
200 mA max load
