As of today, we are discontinuing the DigiSnap 2000, in favor of the DigiSnap 2100. The DigiSnap 2000 is only capable of controlling the Serial interface cameras such as the older style Nikon Coolpix cameras, whereas the DigiSnap 2100 can control these as well as many other style camera interfaces, such as SLR cameras.

The DigiSnap 2200 will be enhanced to support a wider range of cameras as well.

All new DigiSnap 2000 series controllers will now include the 'MultiSnap' feature at no additional charge.

We have updated the firmware in the DigiSnap 2000 series controllers, mostly to simplify the menus, and more easily switch between different types of cameras. If you are using a DigiSnap 2100 or DigiSnap 2800 with firmware version 3.11 or earlier, you are welcome to contact us for a free firmware upgrade via email. If you are using a DigiSnap 2000, 2200 or other controller, then this firmware upgrade is not going to be of benefit.
